About the position
The person in this position will be maintaining and supporting the organization's end-user computing environment: installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading desktop hardware and equipment including but not limited to PC, thin clients, laptops and printers. This will be a mixture of support, maintenance and project work as required.

  • Maintenance and smooth running of the desktops, printers and windows applications;
  • Build, install and configure desktop hardware ensuring all new distributed laptops, thin clients and PCs comply with company IT policy;
  • Manage user requests for new desktop hardware, from order through to fulfilment, including packaging equipment for delivery to end-user;
  • Familiarize end-users with basic software, desktop hardware and peripheral device operation;
  • Perform AD and email account administration;
  • Proactively identify trends in user issues to assist in continual service improvement;
  • Production of documentation to relating to desktop solutions and users guides;
  • This is a senior desktop support role where you will be providing line desktop and hardware support;
  • Supporting and maintaining the end-points within the business which will include desktops, PCs, laptops, printers and any windows applications (incl. Skype, FileShare, etc.);
  • Provide Break/Fix action and Root Cause analysis and involve in introduction of new solutions and platforms and development and documentation of support process;
  • Hardware support (incl. break/fix/provisioning).
Requirements and desired experience
  • Windows-based Desktop PC support (Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 / XP);
  • Microsoft Office support;
  • O365 experience beneficial (e.g. Skype for Business, Teams);
  • VMWare;
  • Azure;
  • Active Directory;
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skills;
  • Good documentation skills (e.g. creation of technical user guides);
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards;
  • Deep knowledge of MS SCCM - a big advantage;
  • Wi-Fi Solutions;
  • CyberArk - an advantage;
  • Group Policy, DNS, DHCP;
  • Hardware support;
  • Fluent English speaker;
  • Team player.
